Other Ways to Give
Sponsoring Maine Adaptive for the Ski-A-Thon, our award-wining Race Team or our Veterans No Boundaries program, shows that you care about improving people’s lives through sports. With your sponsorship, your employees will feel a sense of pride in their company, you will help to change lives and your business will get excellent publicity. That’s a win-win deal! Contact the Maine Adaptive office for more information about becoming a corporate sponsor.
Our Endowment Fund & Maine Adaptive Founders Society
Maine Adaptive’s Endowment Fund was established in 2007 to help ensure the future of Maine Adaptive’s year-round adaptive sports and recreation. It ensures that we will be able to continue to serve people with physical disabilities, for many years to come, introducing them to the challenges and joy of year-round adaptive sports. Individuals who commit $5,000 or more to our endowment fund enjoy membership in the Maine Adaptive Founders Society, which is celebrated annually.
Your personal gift to Maine Adaptive can go much further if you work for a company with a Matching Gifts program. Check with your company’s Human Resources Department to see if they provide matching gifts for your donation. Obtain a matching gift form, fill it out and return it to Maine Adaptive.
Gifts of Appreciated Securities
Gifts of stocks, bonds or mutual funds are a great way to benefit both you and Maine Adaptive, as the gains avoid being taxed.
