Tennis lesson are also available. We offer wheelchair and stand-up tennis drills and match play on select Fridays throughout the summer at Pineland Farms.
Taking part in summer sports give our participants an opportunity to learn new skills, build up their physical strength and have a great time in the outdoors with friends and family members. Maine Adaptive offers lessons in all of these activities June through September in central and southern Maine, all free of charge.

Additional Summer Sponsorship Opportunities:
Like all of the programs at Maine Adaptive, we would be unable to offer our summer activities to participants for free without the generous support of our volunteers and sponsors. Specific summer sponsorship opportunities include:
- $780 covers all the costs of a day of flatwater paddling at Range Pond with our participants (or $60 sponsors one boat for the day).
- $500 covers all the costs of providing 10 specialized adaptive cycles for a day of riding with our participants (or $50 per cycle).
- $400 covers all the costs of a day of downriver paddling on the Androscoggin River with our participants (or $40 per boat).
- $500 covers all the greens fees for a season of golf for our participants (or $50 per day).
